DMK True Oxygen Therapy
This is not your average facial. DMK Enzyme Therapy is used to detoxify and firm the face and neck while restoring healthy functioning of the skin. Unlike any other treatment, this facial works with the body’s natural chemistry and underlying structure to strengthen the skin’s immune system. A mild exfoliation will be chosen for your skin type followed by light extractions (optional). The Enzyme Mask dries very tight (it feels like a cast) on the skin while you feel a slight pulsating as the enzymes promote circulation. Skin is left clear and glowing! Great for all skin types, especially acne-prone, pigmented and aging skin. Enzyme Therapy will strengthen sensitive skin over time. This treatment is best for those seeking dramatic results and looking to get on a skin program.
Note: After your first Enzyme Facial it is normal to experience mild redness, dryness and sensitivity for a few days. It’s like being sore after a workout — it is not harmful, just a sign that you need more strengthening.Home care with prescribed DMK skincare products is required to get the full benefits of Enzyme Therapy. Proper skin care strengthens and protects the skin so we can maintain results and build on our progress with each treatment.
DMK Alkaline Wash
This amazing Alkaline formulation has many versatile uses and once applied to the treatment area, it changes the skins PH of about 4.5 – 6.8 to a PH of 12. When changing the PH level to a 12, we place the skin into an alkaline state, therefore dissolving and softening the skin and hair. Alkaline solutions kill bacteria and remove dead skin cells and vellus hair. An excellent treatment for improving skin texture, acne lesions, wrinkles, Rosacea and Scar Revision.
For best results we recommend incorporating the Alkaline procedures with the DMK Enzyme Therapy. Alkaline Wash is suggested in a series of 3-6 visits and the at home use of DMK Skincare.
Post Treatment the client may experience any of the following:
- Heat, tightness, possible redness
- Crusting in some areas, this may appear within 24 hours to 3 days post treatment which is perfectly normal
- Excess oil
- Dryness which can last up to 10 days
- For hair removal treatments the hair may temporarily feel stubbly, this will subside
- Your skin felling a little rubbery for up to 72 hours
